However, when Frieren detects disturbances in space-time caused by the Demon King, Solitär convinces Tot to join forces with them and confront the Hero Party. Although Tot possesses a vast reserve of mana and a collection of deadly spells, she decides to withdraw from the confrontation. Over time, Tot has gained quite a reputation as one of the most notorious and well-known Greater Demons. As she mentioned after leaving Solitär’s meeting, Tot is currently focused on completing a highly potent “curse” that will take approximately a century to fully cover the entire earth.

Kanne a third-class mage, participated in the first-class mage exams alongside her childhood friends Lawine and Frieren. They studied together at the Academy of Magic and have been close friends since they were kids. Kanne, a petite girl with short orange hair and matching eyes, is as small as Frieren. Despite being a third-class mage, Kanne is dedicated and hardworking, always striving to improve her magical abilities. With her ability to manipulate water by infusing it with mana, Kanne poses a formidable threat in battle due to her versatile control over water.

Second-Class Human Mage
Edel a mage of the second class, is currently participating in the First-Class Mage Exam. In this exam, she is part of the Seventeenth Party alongside Blei and Dünste during the first phase. What sets Edel apart from the rest is her unique appearance. Despite the pressure, she remains composed and calm, as seen when she faced Sense in the First-Class Mage Exam and Macht during the Golden Land expedition. Edel has the appearance of a small teenage girl, with a short haircut and a fringe that partially covers her forehead. Her eyes are hazel, and she has strawberry-blonde hair. One of Edel’s exceptional skills lies in mind magic. She was able to delve into Macht El Dorado’s memories and grant Denken access to them, despite the vast differences between a demon’s and a human’s mental structures.

She enrolled in the Magic Academy to further her studies, where she was accompanied by her friend Kanne. Specializing in ice magic, Lawine has the ability to freeze large bodies of water and create massive ice spears to aim at her enemies. Despite her usual calm demeanor, Lawine has a quick temper when it comes to her childhood friend Kanne. With blue eyes and ash brown hair that falls to her waist, Lawine sports a blunt fringe and wears a blue dress with frills at the hem that stops at her mid-thigh.

Laufen a third-class mage, participates in the First-Class Mage Exam alongside Frieren and Fern. During the exam’s first phase, she teams up with Denken and Richter to form the thirteenth party. Playfully, she takes on the role of Denken’s granddaughter. Although Laufen is not very talkative, her concern for the well-being of other magicians shows that she is a caring individual. She appears to be quite young and has a slender physique. Her orange hair is styled with a short, asymmetrical slanted fringe and tied up into twin buns. Each bun is adorned with a pair of red spheres and a hanging yellow tassel, which complements her brown eyes. Thanks to her skillful use of the magic from the mountain tribe of the Southern Lands, Laufen can move at a speed that is imperceptible to the human eye, giving the illusion of instant disappearance.
