Antoine Martinez
ANIME | Solo Leveling |
CLASS | Healer |
COUNTRY | Unknown |

For ages, the fifth hunter, a survivor of Kamish’s fury, remained a mystery. He was dubbed the unknown healer, rising to the rank of national-level hunter without being tied to any ruler. Reaching National Hunter status without any inherited powers from the Rules is impressive. In Solo Leveling: Ragnarok, we finally find out his name—Antoine Martinez, linked to Thomas Andre’s backstory. If all goes well, we’ll uncover more about him in the next chapters of Solo Leveling: Ragnarok.

ANIME | Solo Leveling |
CLASS | Fighter |
COUNTRY | India |
Siddharth Bachchan leads the Asura Guild as its master. He was recognized as India’s top hunter, earning the title of National Level hunter. He played a key role in taking down the dragon Kamish, but much about his abilities and backstory remains a mystery. Those who know him see him as a driven hunter with aspirations to rise to the top of the global hierarchy. Similar to Jinwoo, he had a strong desire to protect others and a bit of a savior complex, as noted by Liu Zhigang. While his powers were never revealed in Solo Leveling, and his hunter class is unknown, we do know he was one of the vessels of the Rulers, granting him Ruler’s Authority and Spiritual Body Manifestation skills. In Solo Leveling Ragnarok, Siddharth fell into darkness in his pursuit of power, ultimately leading to his demise in the sequel. Nevertheless, he remains the 4th most powerful hunter and shouldn’t be underestimated.

Christopher Reed
ANIME | Solo Leveling |
CLASS | Mage |
COUNTRY | USA |

Christopher Reed is known as the toughest Hunter in America and is among the few who survived the Kamish Raid. Just like Siddharth Bachchan, he had the ability to tap into the Ruler’s Authority and use Spiritual Body Manifestation. This power allowed Reed to morph into a one-eyed humanoid beast, capable of causing massive destruction. The flames he could unleash in this form were so intense that it would take multiple S-Rank hunters to put them out. When he found himself up against Tarnak, Rakan, and Queresha, Christopher fought valiantly until the very end. Sadly, he met his demise in a battle with three Monarchs that happened off-screen, leaving fans without a glimpse of his true power.

Liu Zhigang
ANIME | Solo Leveling |
CLASS | Fighter |
COUNTRY | China |
Liu Zhigang, a prominent Chinese hunter, is recognized as the second most formidable hunter of his time in Solo Leveling. Before Sung Jinwoo rose to fame, Liu was celebrated as Asia’s top hunter, and for good reason. He wields double swords and possesses abilities like Ruler’s Authority and Spiritual Body Manifestation. As a member of the Fighter class, Liu is a no-nonsense guy with impressive combat skills. When the leftover ants from Jeju Island made their way to the Chinese East Coast, he took them out with just one blow. Liu is known for his incredible speed, durability, and strength, earning him the title of ‘The Hero of China’ and making him the only Seven Star Hunter from the country.

Thomas Andre
ANIME | Solo Leveling |
CLASS | Tanker |
COUNTRY | USA |

Thomas Andre was a man who kept his promises and rightfully held the title of the world’s strongest hunter until he crossed paths with Jinwoo. As a vessel of a Ruler, he embodied sheer strength throughout the series. Known as ‘The Goliath,’ he belongs to the Tanker class and serves as the Guild Master of the Scavenger Guild, the most powerful guild in America. Before gaining his abilities from the Rulers, Thomas was just a brawler. Growing up, he faced a tough life as the child of poor European immigrants, overcoming many obstacles on his journey to becoming a hunter. His strength is so immense that he could take on an entire country’s military and is one of the five hunters who brought down the dragon Kamish. Aside from Sung Jinwoo, he’s the physically strongest being on the planet and has even gone head-to-head with the Beast Monarch.

Sung Il-Hwan
ANIME | Solo Leveling |
CLASS | Fighter |
COUNTRY | Korea |
Some fans might say that including Sung Il-Hwan on this list is a bit of a stretch since he went missing before the ranking system was even a thing and stayed off the grid even after showing up in America. But it would be a mistake to overlook the fact that he was a vessel for a Ruler, just like other national-level hunters. While being a vessel alone doesn’t automatically put you on the same level as national hunters—just look at Go Gunhee—Il-Hwan has proven he can hold his own against the Monarchs. During the Monarchs War arc, he took on Sillad and Rakan by himself and even managed to get the upper hand for a moment. It’s worth mentioning that Rakan nearly took out Thomas Andre, who was only saved by Lennart Niermann’s quick thinking. It’s uncertain whether Niermann and Andre could have taken down Rakan together, so Il-Hwan’s gutsy battle against two Monarchs really highlights his impressive strength. So, while he might not officially be labeled a national-level hunter, Sung Il-Hwan is likely stronger than the five hunters who took down Kamish.

Sung Suho
ANIME | Solo Leveling |
CLASS | Fighter |
COUNTRY | Korea |

Sung Suho is the child of Sung Jinwoo and Cha Hae-In, and he takes center stage in Solo Leveling: Ragnarok. As the Heir of the Monarch of Destruction, he’s got some serious potential, being the son of the Shadow Monarch. Suho is on track to become one of the strongest humans around, with skills that surpass the typical S-Rank Hunter. In fact, only Jinwoo stands a chance against him in a one-on-one fight. What sets Suho apart from his dad is his unique ability to level up from a young age, and he’s progressing faster than anyone we’ve seen before. He’s not just inherited his father’s powers; he’s also picked up some new abilities that Jinwoo never had. Now officially a National Level hunter in the sequel, Suho is on his way to becoming the greatest hunter ever. Keep an eye on him—he’s about to outshine his father in no time!

Sung Jinwoo
ANIME | Solo Leveling |
CLASS | Nacromancer |
COUNTRY | Korea |
Sung Jin-Woo, the second Shadow Monarch and the heir to Ashborn, has powers that launched him to a level of strength and authority that most Rulers and Monarchs can only fantasize about. With his necromancer skills, he can summon an army from the strongest foes he’s defeated. His abilities are limitless as the Shadow Monarch, boasting strength, speed, Shadow Extraction, Detoxification, and Monarch’s Domain, making him the ultimate powerhouse in Solo Leveling. He became so formidable that tackling S-Rank dungeons turned into a walk in the park for him. Once seen as the weakest hunter in humanity, Jin-Woo transformed into the most powerful hunter, influencing the fate of the world. Even top-tier hunters like Thomas Andre, who played a key role in taking down the dragon Kamish, couldn’t hold a candle to him. Sung took down America’s strongest hunter without breaking a sweat and could have easily obliterated the entire Scavenger Guild if he chose to. Given how lopsided his fight with Andre was, it’s clear that Jin-Woo is the strongest human ever and rightfully earns the title of a national-level hunter.
