RANK | D-Rank |
FINAL BOSS | Stone Golem |
This fight isn’t happening in a dungeon, but it does involve a Stone Golem that popped out of a Rank D dungeon. A handful of low-rank hunters were dispatched to deal with it, but they were struggling since most of them were D and E rank. Coincidentally, this all went down while Jinwoo was finishing up in the Instant Dungeon. Seeing that the hunters were no match for the massive golem, Jin-Woo chose to step in quietly. He tossed a sword at the golem to create an opportunity.

Goblins Dungeon is where Jin-Woo met up again with the survivors from the Double Dungeon. In this place, Taeshik was brought in to help clear a C-Rank dungeon and had to keep an eye on three C-Rank “probational prisoners” who were allowed to join the raid in exchange for shorter sentences. The Hunters Association decided on this because they were short on hunters after the Double Dungeon disaster. Taeshik was supposed to take out the prisoner, but he ended up killing another hunter who stumbled upon the scene. In the end, Taeshik unleashed his full power and charged at Jin-Woo with his Stealth skill on, but he fell victim to Jin-Woo’s Bloodlust skill, leaving him vulnerable just long enough for Jin-Woo to deliver a fatal stab to his chest.

Red-Gate Dungeon
ANIME | Solo Leveling |
RANK | A-Rank |
FINAL BOSS | Baruka |

The Red Gate Incident was a major disaster, and a C-Rank Gate purchased by the White Tiger Guild turned out to be a Red Gate instead. Red Gate Dungeons are classified as Rank A, and this one was no exception, resembling a frigid Arctic landscape. It was snowing heavily, and anyone could easily suffer from frostbite or become a meal for a polar bear. Interestingly, time worked differently in this dungeon; a single day inside felt like just an hour outside. Despite the harsh conditions, it was also inhabited by snow elves, who were on the lookout to take down any hunters. However, Jin-Woo managed to navigate through the chaos and took down the boss monster. In the end, out of the fourteen hunters who entered, only five made it back alive, thanks to Sung Jinwoo’s efforts. Unfortunately, Chul wasn’t as fortunate and lost his life during the battle inside the dungeon.

The Busan Gate was a tough A-Rank dungeon that popped up in Busan, Korea, a few weeks after the Jeju Island Raid. Typically, A-rank dungeons attracted guilds with a couple of S-rank hunters, but the Busan Dungeon was known to be particularly challenging. Because of this, the Knights Guild wasn’t allowed to take a crack at it, especially since they were short an S-rank hunter, which could lead to a major disaster. The association was pretty hesitant to let them in. But then Jin-Woo stepped in to lend a hand. Just minutes after they entered the dungeon, he got a bad feeling that his sister Jinah was in trouble. Realizing he couldn’t bail on the Knights Guild without backup, he called on Beru, his top shadow soldier, to hold the fort while he rushed off to find his sister. So, he left Beru behind to keep the guild safe and tackle the boss.

This dungeon had 100 floors and featured four bosses. Sung Jin-Woo tackled this dungeon solo, taking down all four bosses. He first encountered Cerberus on the 50th floor, then faced Vulcan on the 75th, followed by Metus, and finally Baran on the 100th floor. Unfortunately, this same dungeon had a major dungeon break four years back, leading to a tragic loss of many lives. Later on, the top Japanese guild, the Draw Sword Guild, reached out to the Korean Hunter Association, and they decided to team up to tackle the escalating threat. The raid started off smoothly, with the Japanese guild easily taking down the ants while the Koreans handled the queen and her guards without much hassle. But things took a dark turn when a super-powerful ant known as the Ant King showed up as the real boss of the dungeon. He ambushed both teams and took out eight of the 16 S-Rank Hunters, including Goto Ryuji and Min Byung-Gyu. The raid was on the brink of disaster until Sung Jinwoo arrived just in time to rescue his comrades and single-handedly defeated the Ant King after an intense battle.

FINAL BOSS | Legia |

The Tokyo S-Rank Gate popped up in Tokyo, Japan, and it was a big deal. After the fourth raid on Jeju Island, Japan lost seven of its top S-rank fighters, including Goto Ryuji, leaving the country pretty vulnerable. Just when things seemed bleak, an S-rank portal appeared in Tokyo a few months later. Japan struggled to gather enough strength to deal with this new threat, so it reached out for help from other countries. Yuri Orloff, a hunter from Russia, stepped in to assist but accidentally triggered a dungeon break. This led to monsters escaping and attacking him. A few days later, Jin-Woo showed up and took down 28 out of 29 giants all by himself, including the one that had killed Orloff. With the giants gone, Jin-Woo jumped through the gate and found Legia, the King of Giants and one of the nine Monarchs, chained up in the boss room. Even though Legia claimed he would join Jin-Woo in the upcoming war against the Rulers, Jin-Woo saw through his deception and quickly beheaded him, sealing the gate and putting an end to the crisis.
